I’m Roxy Pitstock ∽ a degree-qualified and AHPRA registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

Sunshine Coast

My journey into Chinese medicine began when I experienced firsthand how transformative acupuncture could be. After struggling for years with my own chronic health challenges, I turned to acupuncture as a last resort.

I will forever be grateful to the acupuncturist who helped me. My quality of life is paramount to me as I suspect it is for you, too.

This sparked a passion in me to help others discover the same. This personal experience continues to shape the way I practice today, with deep empathy for what my patients are going through.

A Whole-Person Approach to Care

I see every patient as more than their symptoms. Health is never just one system or one condition - it’s the way your body, mind, and emotions interact with each other and with the world around you. My role is to look at the bigger picture and help bring those pieces back into balance.

What to Expect in a Consultation

Our time together is calm, deliberate, and conversational. I want you to feel comfortable to share your story openly, knowing that you’re being listened to with care and respect. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s troubling you right now, but also the underlying patterns that might be contributing.

Each treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs and may draw on acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicine, or lifestyle advice - always chosen with safety and your comfort in mind.

Blending Eastern Wisdom and Modern Medicine

I believe that the best healthcare is not about choosing between Eastern and Western medicine, but about allowing them to complement each other. Acupuncture and Chinese medicine offer gentle, effective ways to support the body’s natural healing processes, while modern medicine brings invaluable diagnostic tools and specialised care.

I welcome collaboration with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals, so that you receive the most comprehensive support possible. Whether you’re navigating fertility challenges, preparing for birth, managing hormonal changes, or seeking comfort during cancer treatment, my goal is to be part of your wider care team.

Why I Do This Work

Supporting people through pivotal life stages — from oncology care to fertility, pregnancy and women’s health - is the heart of my practice. These moments often come with uncertainty, vulnerability, or change, and it’s an honour to walk alongside patients during that time.

For me, acupuncture is not just about treating conditions — it’s about nurturing resilience, creating space for healing, and helping people feel more at home in their bodies.
