New Patient Acupuncture

(Initial Appointment)

60-75 mins | $135

Your first visit is thorough and unhurried. You'll be asked to complete a brief intake form prior to arriving for your appointment - ideally 24 hours before. Once you're here, we'll sit down for a detailed health history review covering your main concern, lifestyle, digestion, sleep, stress levels, and any past medical care. Then, I’ll check your pulse and tongue, two key diagnostic tools in Chinese medicine.

Every session is built around your individual needs. After gently placing fine needles, I may add soothing heat therapy where it will help most. Then you'll settle in for 30 minutes of undisturbed rest. This quiet pause lets your body do its healing work - and many patients relax so completely that they nod off.

When appropriate, you'll receive a follow-up email with your personalised treatment plan with simple guidance on lifestyle, food, and herbal support. Everything is designed to work alongside your body's natural wisdom to bring back balance and energy.

Follow-up Acupuncture

55 mins | $100

Return visits focus on tracking your progress and refining your treatment. We’ll briefly check in on any symptom changes, new developments, or side effects you’ve noticed since your last session. After a quick pulse and tongue assessment, you’ll receive a customised acupuncture treatment. The treatment generally lasts for 30 minutes with a rest included.

Cupping

Cupping is often included in an acupuncture session or booked alone. I place special glass cups on specific areas of your back, shoulders, or legs. A gentle vacuum is created using heat so the cups lift the skin and underlying tissue. You’ll feel a mild, pleasant tug, not pain. The cups stay in place for 5–15 minutes, helping to loosen tight muscles, improve blood flow, and relieve stagnation. Afterwards, you might have circular marks that fade within a few days.
